Wreath Making Class

Mancos Public Library
Celebrate the holiday season and spark your creative energy by joining us for a wreath making workshop. I will provide fresh locally collected boughs, wreath forms and wire. You will learn the basic technique of wire wrapping to create a greenery wreath that you can embellish and decorate. Some bows, cones, ribbons and flowers will be provided. But feel free to bring something special to make it uniquely your own. Participants will learn the wire wrapping method of attaching greens to a form to make a wreath. Every participant will go home with a completely original wreath of their creation!
Mary will also share some techniques for creating decorations that can be saved and used again.
Some materials provided – wreath forms & assorted decorative materials like pine cones & some ribbons/flowers/bells.
Minimum 4 students. Maximum 12 students.
Mary Vozar has been creating, selling and sharing wreaths for over 25 years. She is a retired art teacher and librarian and has been fortunate enough to call Montezuma County home for the past 40 years.
